Today i was introduced to the world of 3D drawings, and there is a slideshow being featured on a few news sites that is really interesting. To me, this is like merging art with technology because it opens up a new idea for art. The idea that 3D doesnt need to be just a digital rendering, we can create these illusions using just pen and paper. There are a few of the images shown in the slideshow that i stared at for a long time, trying to figure out if it was a trick or not! It got me thinking about those flipbooks that we made as kids where we draw stick figures and then flip through the book and it becomes a little movie. Imagine what a new experience this would be if a massive book was created with the 3D drawings in it, it would be incredible!
Here is the link to the slideshow, the first couple of images are just okay... but they get even better i promise!
