Microscopic Worlds

Yahoo is featuring a slideshow today that show microscopic photography. These images are crazy, showing thing that we encounter all the time.. but from a totally different perspective that isn't identifiable

 by the naked eye. I love this side of technology, being able to make something accessible that normally would not be. It's a way that technology has opened us up to experiencing something new, and it's really neat. The slideshow is worth going through, there are about 8 photographs. I will warn though, one image is of 2 spiders, and one image is of an ant, so if you are easily creeped out by creepy-crawlys i wouldn't suggest looking! This is a photo of the fruit flys visual system 1/2 way through development...woah!
