This article on how greeting cards are losing popularity is no surprise. However, it did get me thinking about how everyday objects and how when they are replaced by something new, they can become a form of art. I have personally always thought that cards were art. I love to make people homemade cards, and people display them in their rooms or houses for quite a while after i give the card to them. This shows that card making is considered a form of art. This made me think about what other everyday elements are becoming works of art once they're replaced by something newer. Any ideas?
